Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery): The nose is a very important part of the face. Disproportion in any of it`s parts will result in deformity to some degree. I plays a part in the sense of taste and smell. It also assists in humidifying the air we breathe. Rhinoplasty can improve the relation of one`s nose with his or her facial features. The most common procedures involve removing part of the bony bump on top, narrowing a wide nose and decreasing the excess cartilage of the tip. Most commonly this procedure is done under general anaesthesia. Results can be significant once the swelling has subsided.

Otoplasty (Ear Surgery) : This is a procedure mainly to fold back the prominent or outstanding ear. This is most commonly a congenital problem of a lack of full developement and folding of the ear cartilage. A problem frequently occurs when a child begins school and is being teased by fellow students. Adults are often good canidates as well if they are embarassed by their appearance and are tired of trying to conceal their ears with their hair. This procedure can normally be done under local anaesthetic and usually heals within a few weeks.
Torn earlobes are a frequent result of either direct trauma such as pulling on an earing or catching one with a brush or comb or may be the result of slow tearing of the tissues from wearing heavy earings over a long period of time. This deformity can be repaired under local anaesthesia . A healing period is necessary before re-piercing the earlobe
Wrinkles can be treated in a variety of ways. Commonly an implant material such as collagen is injected into the fine lines and wrinkles of the face to fill in these defects. This is done with a fine needle as an office procedure and takes only a few minutes. Several varieties of product are available. This form of treatment is not permanent but may be repeated in order to maintain the improvment. Usually the redness and effects of the needle injection subside within a few hours.
