Partridges

Two main areas in Lebanon and Syria where partdrige (chukar partridge) used to be mainly found: the Lebanese mountains and the Hauran-Djebel Druze region in Syria.These were the most tiring but most exciting trips. Once you flush a partridge company, you keep remembering that thrilling moment all your life !

This is the typical scenery in the Hauran region of Syria, a volcanic rocky area, with flat arable land in between small hills: ideal for partdridge feeding and shelter.
	Mount-Hermon (Lebanon) - Riding on the mule from Aiha village to reach the upper hunting grounds, a 2-hours ride following tormented mule-paths in valleys.
