Editor Sample-Window

Reads the first few lines of text in the editor below. The editor in this instance writes from right to left. Observe the eighth toolbar button counting from the left side. It is locked in to "Right to Left" mode. A click on the 7th button would display the same text from Left to Right. All edit window commands are on the menu bar, and most of them have access and shortcut keys. The commonly used edit window commands are accessible from the toolbar, and are grouped by functions:

• New, Open, Save (File commands)
• Print, Fonts (WYSIWYG print, font maker)
• Translate (Reads and codes an input file for display)
• Left to Right, Right to Left (Justifies displayed text)
• Find, Count, Replace (Extended edits)
• Copy, Cut, Paste, Delete (Edits)
• Refresh (Re-draws write-pads)
• Keyboard Layout (Shows edit, navigate, and ABC keys)
• Concordance (Shows composition and statistics of text)
• System, Sunrise, Moonrise (Auxiliary functions)
• Capture (Copies runic text as picture into clipboard. Maybe pasted into a picture editor or into a web page editor)
• Help (Online help)

On the bottom of the screen you can see "Line: 2/28", meaning the cursor is on the second line, and there are now 28 lines of text in the editor. Column 1, indicates the cursor's column position. It is near the top right corner in both write-pads, displayed as a small circle. Current font size is 330 pixels. The write pads' capacity are 35 columns by 10 lines.
