The Zen Centre is incorporated under Federal law as a charitable organization and, as such, issues tax receipts for donations. The Centre is supported by general donations, the Friends of Enpuku-ji monthly contribution program, retreat fees amd ceremony fees, and donations to the Abbess, Monk Study and Travel, Scholarship, Montreal Zen Poetry Festival and Enpuku-ji (Temple building) Funds. Those attending regularly are asked to contribute as Friends of Enpuku-ji. Those attending occasionally are asked to make a contribution of $10 per visit.
To join the Friends of Enpuku-ji monthly contribution programme, simply click on the CanadaHelps logo on this page. A screen with the Zen Centre logo (the house) will appear. Then choose “Donate Monthly” from the boxes on the right and follow the instructions. CanadaHelps.org allows donors to download a tax receipt at any time.
If you wish to make a single donation, click on “Donate Now” and, on the next screen, after entering the amount, go to “Fund/Designation” and choose which fund you would like to contribute to.
