HISTORY
Centre Zen de la Main was founded in the spring of 1995 by Myōkyō, with the help and support of generous donors. The Centre is affiliated with a network of centres, headed by the main temple, Rinzai-ji, which are committed to practicing Rinzai Zen as taught by Joshu Roshi. It has grown in its first years to to the point of being able to provide a strong, consistent practice environment for members, newcomers and resident students.
